After earning his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, Tom obtained his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. He cultivated his legal acumen by practicing in New York City for several years, working extensively in various levels of state and federal courts before returning to his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. This diverse experience has equipped him with a unique capability to navigate complex legal landscapes, particularly in corporate law, where he excels in advising companies on legal strategies that align with their business objectives.
In addition to his legal practice, Tom is a licensed athlete agent in Nebraska, primarily focused on representing student athletes in Name, Image, and Likelihood (NIL) agreements. Julie is an Associate with the firm and grew up in Blair, Nebraska. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University after receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska. After serving as an attorney for the State of Nebraska, she transitioned to commercial insurance matters including insurance defense, coverage disputes, and risk management. Ron, a distinguished legal professional, has traversed a dynamic path in the field of law. His journey began at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he honed his legal acumen. As Agency Legal Counsel for the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court, Ron played a pivotal role in ensuring fair and just outcomes for workers navigating complex compensation claims.
His commitment to public service led him to Douglas County, where he served as an Assistant Public Defender on the Major Felony Trial Staff.
Beyond the courtroom, Ron has amassed several years of private practice experience. His expertise spans a wide range of legal areas, including general litigation, workers’ compensation analysis, medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, domestic relations, criminal defense, and personal injury cases.
Ron’s active involvement in legal associations underscores his commitment to professional growth and community engagement. He is a proud member of the Omaha Bar Association, Nebraska Bar Association, Iowa Bar Association, and Missouri Bar Association. Through these affiliations, he continues to contribute to the legal landscape and advocate for justice.
While attending law school, Fred served as Executive Editor of the Creighton Law Review, served on the Domestic Moot Court Board, and represented the law school as a member of the Creighton Student Union.
Fred has taught Legal Writing and Lawyering Skills I and II at Creighton University School of Law and Legal Research at University of South Dakota. He has written articles for the Creighton Law Review and the Journal of Psychological Inquiry. Fred served as a Research Attorney for the Nebraska District Court, 4th Judicial District and worked as an in-house counsel specializing in commercial transactions. Fred has also served as a Practice Area Consultant with LexisNexis.
